Round 17: MC - Ch 3, 2 dc in same st as joining; ch 1, * 3 dc, ch 1,in next dc, repeat around for 8 sets(3 dc, ch 1), join with sl st in top of ch 3.
Round 18: Ch 3, 2 dc in ch 1 by joining. *(3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc)set made, in next ch 1 space. Repeat around until you get to the beginning set. Do 3 dc, ch 1 in starting ch area. Join with sl st in top of beginning ch 3. Fasten off color.
Round 19: With CC, ch 3, 4 dc in ch 1 space you just ended off. *Sc in between this and next set. 10 dc in next ch 1 space, repeat around until you get to the 4 dc space and do 5 additional dc in that space. Join with a sl st in beginning ch 3 and fasten off. Weave in ends.
Body and feelers: CC - Ch 35 and fasten off.
Fold butterfly in half as shown in photos.
Loop body chain, back to front through dc just above the butterfly. Loop the remaining chain down and up the front and tie in a knot at the top of the butterfly. Butterfly is then looped over your bar or handle front to back and pulled through the hole crocheted earlier.
