Plastic ring(white)
Worsted weight yarn - 1 oz. contrasting color(CC)
2 oz. main color(MC)
G crochet hook
With CC work 26 sc over ring. Change to MC.
Bodice
Row 1: Dc in front loop of first 13 sc, turn and dc in back loop of the same 13 sc, change to CC.
Row 2: Ch 4, dc in first st. sk next st, *1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next st, skip next st. Repeat from * around. Change to MC.
Rows 3 & 4: 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in ch 1 sp all around. Change to CC.
Row 5: 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in ch 1 sp. Change to MC.
Skirt
First Row: 1 dc between shells after the 2 ½ shells, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in middle of shell, 1 dc between shells around.
Next Row: Shell in Shell - 2 dc between 1 dc of previous row. Repeat this row until 6 dc between shells. Change to CC.
Last Row: 1 sc in each st around. Fasten off.
