Finish the topper and begin the fastener here:
Turn and sl st in each on the next 4 dc.
Round 17: Ch 1, do 3 sc in each dc around for a total of 21 sc. Join with a sl st in top of ch 1.
Round 18: Ch 2, 1 hdc in next st, 2 dc in next st, 5 tc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 1 sc in each of next 4 sts, 1 hdc and 1 dc in next st, 1 dc and 1 hdc in next st, 1 sc in each of next 4 st, 1 hdc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 5 tc in next st, 2 dc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, sl st in top of ch 1 to join and fasten off.
You may want to go around the heart with a contrasting color using a sc stitch. Fasten off and weave in ends.
